The bedroom makeover in our cottage is now complete and I love the fresh, simple feel. Quite a bit of structural change happened at one end of the room. We stole about a metre from the end to create a cupboard for the bedroom and a cupboard for the adjoining study. This gave us a longer hall so we could get a door into the third bedroom, which until now had been accessed through the bathroom, which was accessed through the kitchen. Not convenient at all. […] I am sorry it has taken me so long to post the promised photos of the ensuite renovation, but I am here at last. Before, it was just a powder room and to make it into a full bathroom, we had to remove an external door and gut practically everything else. It was certainly not horrible before, but there was a step down into it, and it just didn’t work well for us. We did keep the cute pedestal basin though.
